Refund Policy

This draft explains the proposed refund boundary for MelonPixels website services. It is for counsel review, not legal advice, and is not yet effective. No online payment is collected through this site.

Publication status: Draft for counsel review; not legal advice; not yet effective. Last updated 28 August 2026.

Current site behavior: MelonPixels does not collect payment, schedule appointments, or run a post-checkout onboarding flow on this site. Project discussions start through the contact form; legacy links redirect there and retired APIs do not create records.

1. Scope and status

This policy is intended to sit beside the Terms and Conditions and the Service Agreement. It applies only to a verified, counsel-approved order and payment. The current site has no checkout and takes no payment; a contact-form inquiry creates no charge or refund event.

The working operator name is MelonPixels. Refund questions should be sent to jeromeley@melonpixels.com. The current service location is Nuvali, Laguna, Philippines; no street address is published in this draft. The legal entity or registration name, principal address, and any appointed data protection officer or privacy contact remain to be confirmed by the operator and Philippine counsel. The legal entity, invoice issuer, payment processor, and final notice address remain to be confirmed before publication.

2. Current payment boundary

MelonPixels does not currently collect payment through the website, so there is no online charge or automatic refund workflow to apply. Any future payment arrangement will be stated in a written order before work begins and will supersede this draft where permitted by law.

Any written order must preserve remedies that mandatory Philippine law or the final signed agreement cannot lawfully exclude.

3. Future written orders

If MelonPixels later accepts a payment under a written order, that order must state whether a cancellation before delivery receives a full, partial, or no refund, any approved deduction, and the request window and method. No entitlement is invented here.

If the studio cannot start or materially cannot perform, the applicable written order should explain whether the customer receives a refund, credit, rescheduled start, or another remedy. This draft promises none of those outcomes.

4. Quotes, invoices, and cancellations

Public prices are starting points only. A written quote or order must explain any invoice, payment timing, cancellation, delivery milestone, and amount already due. The website does not create recurring billing or accept card details.

Do not rely on a legacy redirect or inquiry as evidence that a refund period, subscription, or service start has begun.

5. Client delays and change requests

Missing materials, late feedback, unavailable approvers, unlicensed assets, or client-requested scope changes can move the schedule and may require a written change order. The final agreement should state whether a prolonged client delay pauses the service, moves the draft cutoff, or affects cancellation rights. This draft does not create a refund entitlement for a delay caused by the client or a third-party service.

6. How to request a review

Email jeromeley@melonpixels.com with the customer name, company, plan, order or subscription reference, payment date, and a short explanation. Do not send card numbers or passwords. We will acknowledge the request and apply the effective policy and any mandatory legal or payment-provider rule; a response deadline, decision owner, and appeal route are open decisions for counsel.

7. Consumer rights and disputes

Nothing here is intended to mislead a consumer, remove a non-waivable statutory remedy, or prevent a complaint to a competent regulator or payment provider. Counsel should confirm the application of the Consumer Act, Internet Transactions Act, Electronic Commerce Act, Civil Code, tax rules, and any sector-specific law to the actual customer and sales channel. Governing law, venue, mediation/arbitration, and escalation language belong in the final terms and are not selected by this draft.

8. Changes and publication

The effective policy will show an effective date, identify material changes, and be presented before a new payment or renewal when required. A later version should not silently reduce a right already promised in an accepted order.

9. Open decisions before publication

  • Choose the pre-first-draft cancellation/refund rule, request window, deductions (if any), and payment route.
  • Confirm what happens if MelonPixels cancels, cannot perform, misses an agreed milestone, or a provider fails.
  • Define the three-month minimum, post-minimum notice, failed-payment, chargeback, proration, and unused-month rules.
  • Define “first draft” delivery evidence, client-delay treatment, change orders, and cancellation cut-off.
  • Confirm entity, invoice/tax details, consumer/e-commerce requirements, mandatory remedies, dispute venue, and escalation.
  • Align this policy with the effective Terms and Service Agreement.
